Intermittent operation on wall heater. Observed heater turning off and on randomly when unit should be on. Tested continuity and resistance to thermostat, wires and upper limit. Slight resistance in wires to upper limit, but very low. Cleaned, tightened, and reattached all wires and unit is operating normally.
No heat. Furnace is starting, then shutting down because no flame is sensed. 3rd burner is not igniting due to plugged gas orifice (earwig). Removed entire burner assembly, and cleaned. Pulled and cleaned gas orifice also. Unit is operating well.
System was in lockout due to consecutive limit switch trips. Replaced filter and reset disconnect and system is heating well at this time with a temp rise of 39�.
Diagnosed a no power to thermostat situation on a trane split system heat pump. Replaced blown 5amp fuse. checked transformer, relay block, indoor contactor coil and thermostat wiring for a short. Determined indoor contactor had internal short and replaced it with a new one. System is operational and heating/cooling at this time.
Replaced controll board and igniter on trane furnace. Tested start up and ran furnace. Heating at this time.
Performed preventative heating maintenance on indoor gas furnace and blower. Checked the following: -Amperages on inducer and indoor blower motors. -Start capacitor for inducer and indoor blower motors. -Proper and safe pressure switch operation. -Proper high voltage provided to furnace. -Check gas valve for proper flow and pressure. -Thermostat functionality. -Proper air flow/temperature split for supply and return vents. System is heating well at this time with a temp split of 39�.
No heat wallheater. Customer complains that unit lights, runs for a few minutes then stops. Found that unit is a 5y old cozy. Very dirty/dusty pet hair, cleaned. Loose wires going to valve, tightened. Low grade milivolt thermostat also not working consistently, replaced. Thermocouple reading 450mv w pilot, 320mv when lit.

Adding some ducting to an existing system to provide conditioned air to two restrooms upstairs.
Performed heating maintenance and filter check on two day & night gas furnaces. East furnace. Blower Amp draw 1.4A. Draft motor capacitor 5/5mfd. Draft motor amp draw .3/.39A. Temp rise of 72-126F. West furnace. Blower Amp draw 2A. Draft motor capacitor 5/5mfd. Draft motor amp draw .43/.39A. Temp rise 70-117F. Both systems are operational and heating at this time.
