Performed cooling maintenance on York split system. Changed filter (20×30×1). Washed condenser coil and verified that condensate was draining. Capacitors at rated value. Contactor is functioning and has 240V, fuses are good. Out door fan motor is running at rated Amps. Temp split is 17 degrees. System is operational and cooling at this time.

Thank you Andrew! He was so courteous, he called to say he’d be a few minutes late and then he called just as soon as he was on his way to our house. He quickly diagnosed the problem, went to his truck to get the new part, then installed it and walked through each room to test the temp & air flow in each room. Everything is working great. After a sweltering 3 days in 100+ degree heat, we are so grateful that Andrew came and fixed it so easily. (He’s a really nice guy too 👍🏻!) Chillin out over here now 🙂

40/5 capacitor was shorted and burnt a wire. Replaced capacitor and fixed the wire and system is now cooling well with a temp split of 16°.

Performed cooling maintenance on Day&night split system. Replaced filter (2@12x24x1) and checked thermostat. Checked disconnect, fuses and that capacitor was within range. Verified that contactor is getting 240V and functioning. Checked compressor Amp draw and out door fan motor Amp draw. Checked that condensate was draining. Checked condenser coil and temperature split. Replaced bad dual run capacitor. System is operational and cooling at this time.
