Replacing a blower motor on a roof mounted HVAC unit.
Assessment of watercooler for replacement.
No heat. Unit not lighting. Gas valve not opening. Valve is getting 24v, reseated plug, valve coming on every time now. Customer had similar problem in 2021. Valve may be sticking occasionally.
Bid for two things. Duct repair/replacement due to rats. Adding insulation, additional garage registers.
System transformer was blown, board did not have a fuse. Disconnect had electrical damage to the load side. Replaced both and added a fuse to the transformer. System now currently working well at this time.
Unit is 10 y old. Never been serviced. Customer wants a maintenance and unit is short cycling. Eventually found that exchanger snap limit is opening and making, intermittently causing unit to short cycle. Ordered replacement. Also disabled schedule function on thermostat per customer request.
System thermostat was malfunctioning and had no display. Replace thermostat and system currently functions well at this time with no issues. Performed maintenance at the same time as well.
Thermocouple was very black with soot and pilot was not staying lit. Cleaned off the thermocouple and stem successfully started up 5 times with no issues.
Cleaned 2 heads and 2 condensers. Units slightly dusty but in great condition. Front room head makes a slight ticking sometimes according to customer. Probably dust creating an imbalance. Suggested the head cleaning system.
Heating maintenance. Pulled burners and flame sensor and cleaned. Cleaned burner compartment. Unit is running well. Brought to customers attention that roll-out sensor has been bypassed.
Replaced high limit temperature probe and condensate drain line.
